About The Founders
Oliver Makomo was born on 24th February 1967 as a fraternal twin, married to Doren Makomo born 11th February 1973. They have three children. A Zimbabwean charismatic preacher and founder of a fast growing Pentecostal Revival Ministry (PRIM). Oliver Makomo grew up in a Christian home under the guidance of his spiritual and gifted mother Gogo Erica. His mother is a devout Christian who grew up in Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe(A.F.M). Oliver grew up in A.F.M at an assembly which was led by the late Reverend Langton Kupara in 1974 – 1976 in Highfields surburb in Harare.As a family they later moved to Chitungwiza-Zengeza in 1976 under the guidance of his Spiritual father Rev Matafini Shumbambiri now based in Bindura.He grew up in Chitungwiza,where he did his primary,secondary and tertiary education.He became an intercessor in 1990 and he moved to various places with intercessors,a prayer warrior who loved to see the power of God moving wherever the power is being ministered.He was much involved in healing and deliverance ministry under his late mentor Reverend Abednigo Chitauro.He rose through the ranks and became a powerful preacher of the word and his favourite scripture is “During the days of John the Baptist,the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violence shall take it by force”,Matthew 11:12.Oliver has a prophetic ministry and has a lot of respect on the fivefold ministry because he believes there is no great ministry than the other.Oliver was called to be a full time minister of the word in June 1990 but he delayed as he wanted to pursue his academic studies.He then later after fourteen years responded to a full time calling,he then left employment to pursue theological studies in 2004.He registered with Living Waters Bible College an affiliation of Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe (A.F.M) until he graduated in November 2007.
Ministry and Theology
Oliver Makomo graduated from Living waters Bible College an affiliation of A.F.M in Zimbabwe after three years of Pastoral Training, he was deployed to minister in Musami Mrewa where he ministered for one year and was relocated to Ruwa where he started at an open ground with less than ten people but later the assembly grew and was attracting crowds from in and outside Ruwa.When he came to Ruwa he was preaching the word and signs and wonders were being witnessed,Holy spirit moving in the church,healing the sick and delivering those who are in captive.In Ruwa he began to teach about reviving Pentecostalism which has vibrant life in Christ and zeal in the things of God.He began to teach congregates about diligently searching the deeper things of God impacting them with a prayer life.He introduced people to life of prayer and fasting and praying in the mountains.His preaching of the Word and his Prophetic Ministry is still drawing people in and outside Harare. His wife Doren Makomo is currently studying Theology with New Life Theological College.
The Birth Of PRIM
It was during his Pastoral Training at Living Waters Bible College when God spoke to Oliver Makomo on the 6th June 2007 at midnight in a prayer session when he was preparing for a graduation of his Pastoral training.God spoke to him that he shall have a ministry and shall name it PENTECOSTAL REVIVAL and it was from that time that he never rested about the vision of starting a Ministry.
He ministered in A.F.M but pursuing his vision.In A.F.M he rose through the ranks and became the Provincial Secretary which is the position he held since he left. On 5 August 2017 moved out of A.F.M and pursue the ministry of Pentecostalism which God had told that he will pursue,his influence grew wider that he began to minister to a Mega Church.
